On April 15, TASS news agency quoted Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova as saying that Moscow felt compelled to raise the issue of moving the venue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict negotiations between the two Caucasus countries of Armenia and Azerbaijan from Switzerland to another country.

According to her, Russia has repeatedly expressed its view to Switzerland that the Nordic country's actions in the Ukraine issue have violated Bern's declared neutrality.

Several other countries have agreed to hold talks on the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, the spokesman said.

In another development related to the situation in Ukraine, on the same day, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide announced that Oslo had reached a security agreement with Kiev, providing long-term military, political, financial and humanitarian support to the Eastern European country embroiled in conflict with Russia.

The agreement demonstrates Norway's clear political commitment to continue standing side by side with Ukraine.

According to Foreign Minister Eide, the official signing ceremony of the agreement will take place with the participation of Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, the official date has not been set.

Kiev is now seeking to strengthen ties with its allies and call on them to supply it with weapons and ammunition. Ukraine has previously signed bilateral security agreements with a number of other countries, including Britain, France and Germany.

Oslo has now pledged 75 billion kroner ($6.9 billion) in civilian and military aid to Kiev between 2023 and 2027.
