Norway Pavilion
GEFE 2024 brings together more than 200 pavilions, including 13 international pavilions, offering visitors the opportunity to explore technologies and initiatives aimed at a green economy based on European experience.
Among them is the Norwegian pavilion, with eight leading companies from the Nordic country participating to introduce groundbreaking innovations and sustainable solutions promoting green transformation in different sectors.
UK Pavilion
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Norwegian Ambassador to Vietnam Hilde Solbakken said that the participating companies are leaders in industries that are important for economic growth and environmental protection: shipbuilding, energy, paint and coatings, fertilizers, and circular economy.
"Our booth demonstrates Norway's long-term commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility through sustainable practices and green solutions from each participating company. Coming to our booth, you will learn more about the activities of Norwegian companies as well as their relationships with Vietnamese partners in promoting sustainable values and actively contributing to Vietnam's economic growth and transition to a greener future," according to the ambassador.
Swedish Pavilion
The Swedish pavilion focuses on breakthrough solutions in renewable energy, emission reduction, circular economy and new technologies, with the aim of helping Vietnam strengthen its global position and attract investment.
Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi said the Swedish pavilion demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and inspires deeper cooperation with Vietnam for a greener future.
German Pavilion
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until 23 October, providing access to solutions in renewable energy, green finance, sustainable construction and carbon markets.
Swiss Pavilion
The event took place in the context of strong growth in trade relations between Vietnam and the EU thanks to the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). This agreement has made the EU one of Vietnam's leading trade partners, creating favorable conditions to promote green investments.
Finland Pavilion
With the Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) under negotiation, the two sides have great potential to attract more sustainable development projects.
