XPO Contemporary Dance Festival in Hoi An (September 4, 2023): XPO in HOI AN
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Singapore Diplomatic Relations, the X Position 'O' Contemporary Dance Festival 2023, co-organized by Saigon Contemporary & Ballet Dance Corporation (SCBC Vietnam) in collaboration with the prestigious Odysseys Theatre Singapore under the Odyssey Dance Theatre Group (ODT), Singapore and the Bong Sen Traditional Music and Dance Theatre, once again debuted to the audience in Ho Chi Minh City.
The festival includes a series of exciting activities and events on Contemporary Dance art and 4 nights of performances taking place in Singapore, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City. The X Position 'O' International Contemporary Dance Festival depicts the journey of bringing Vietnamese culture to the world .
Considered a delicate and rich picture of artistic values, the X Position 'O' International Contemporary Dance Festival 2023 expands its scope by introducing more than 40 international art companies and 550 artists.
The X Position 'O' International Contemporary Dance Festival has received support and acclaim from the international community, especially embassies, audiences and global artists through international tours and cultural exchanges in many countries and territories around the world such as: Germany, Italy, Korea, Taiwan (China), Thailand, Singapore...

SCBC Vietnam representative, director Loki Vu, said: "This year's return of the X Position 'O' 2023 International Contemporary Dance Festival will bring high-level performances, international cultural exchange with the participation of famous dancers such as Danny Tan (Artistic Director of Odyssey Dance Theatre), choreographer Huynh Doan Trinh (Bong Sen Traditional Music and Dance Theatre), choreographer Ha Thanh Hau, artist Do Hai Anh..."
At XPO 2023, exhibition spaces and networking spaces will also be integrated for contemporary dance lovers to interact with Danny Tan. Artist Danny Tan has 19 works and more than 80 performances in more than 30 cities and 20 countries and territories.
