Long An was transferred 43 hectares of rice land to implement the Tan Phu Industrial Cluster Project.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Document No. 261/TTg-NN approving the People's Committee of Long An province to decide to change the purpose of using 43,0009 hectares of rice-growing land to other purposes to implement the Tan Phu Industrial Cluster Project in Duc Hoa district.

The People's Committee of Long An province is responsible for the content and data of the report, organizes the inspection and review of the current status of land use to ensure consistency in records and field, and ensures the rice land quota is allocated by the Prime Minister; is fully responsible before the law and the Prime Minister for the decision to change the purpose of rice land use to ensure compliance with the provisions of the law on land, the law on investment and other relevant laws; ensures economical and effective land use, and prevents loss and waste.
The People's Committee of Long An province is responsible for inspecting and supervising the separation and use of topsoil in accordance with the provisions of law; regularly inspecting and resolving difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing the implementation of changing the purpose of rice-growing land in accordance with the provisions of law.
Long An Provincial People's Committee is only allowed to decide to change the purpose of rice land use when the project meets the conditions and complies with the provisions of law.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is fully responsible for the organization of appraisal, appraisal results and content of the proposal to the Prime Minister to approve the change of rice land use purpose to implement the Tan Phu Industrial Cluster Project in Duc Hoa district, Long An province, ensuring compliance with regulations; monitoring and guiding the implementation of the above-mentioned change of rice land use purpose in accordance with the provisions of law.
