Masan High-Tech Materials recognized as 'Vietnam Sustainable Enterprise'

On the evening of November 29, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry hosted the ceremony to honor the 100 Sustainable Enterprises of Vietnam (CSI 100) in 2024. Among them, Masan High-Tech Materials Joint Stock Company continued to be named in the CSI 100. This is the 7th consecutive year the enterprise has achieved this title.

Masan High-Tech Materials recognized as 'Vietnam's Sustainable Enterprise' for 7 consecutive years

The CSI 2024 index has 153 indicators, divided into 2 levels: core and advanced. In addition to complying with the law, honored enterprises such as Masan High-Tech Materials have also demonstrated that they have been building a healthy business ecosystem to ensure sustainable development and protect the environment.

According to Mr. Craig Bradshaw, General Director   Masan High-Tech Materials: “This recognition is a motivation for Masan High-Tech Materials to continue to innovate and spread sustainable values, towards a better future for the community and the environment.”

As a high-tech materials manufacturer, Masan High-Tech Materials continuously applies modern technology and closed production processes at the Nui Phao tungsten mine and the tungsten deep processing plant in Thai Nguyen to optimize resources and minimize environmental impact.

The company has made a difference by pioneering the implementation of the 3R model: “Reduce – Reuse – Recycle” in its operations. To date, 7.8 million m³ of wastewater has been reused for production, accounting for 76.1% of the total water used; the waste recycling rate has reached over 80% at the high-tech factory.
