The Russian Foreign Ministry has just announced a list of 500 Americans who are not allowed to enter the country, including former US President Barack Obama. Thus, up to now, the list of US citizens banned from entering Russia is 1,884 people.

TASS news agency quoted a statement on May 19 from the Russian Foreign Ministry stating that Moscow's sanctions list includes senior officials from all levels of the executive branch, former officials as well as heads of defense companies supplying weapons to Ukraine.

Earlier the same day, the US Government announced the expansion of the sanctions list targeting more than 300 Russian individuals and entities involved in the conflict in Ukraine.
