Journalist Ta Bich Loan retires from December 1

(NLDO)- Journalist Ta Bich Loan was awarded the First Class Labor Medal for her contributions at VTV.

On the morning of November 29, Vietnam Television (VTV) held a ceremony to announce the decision on personnel work and award the First Class Labor Medal to journalist Ta Bich Loan.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, General Director of VTV, handed over the retirement decision to journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan, Head of the Entertainment Program Production Department. Journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan has successfully completed her duties and will retire from the regime from December 1, 2024.

Journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan (commonly known as Ta Bich Loan) has worked at VTV for more than 29 years, holding many positions, including 16 years in leadership and management positions at the Department level.

Throughout her career, she has always completed her assigned tasks excellently, made many outstanding decisions and contributions in the process of building and developing VTV. In recognition of these achievements and contributions, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed a decision to award her the First Class Labor Medal.

Sending best wishes to journalist Ta Bich Loan for the upcoming journey, VTV General Director Nguyen Thanh Lam wishes her good health, faith and peace of mind and life, to continue writing more meaningful pages in the coming years of her life.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam emphasized that journalist Ta Bich Loan is a person known to the whole society. She is a prestigious person in the industry, respected and has many achievements and contributions recognized by many agencies, departments and localities. She is one of the rare people who have received formal training in the field of journalism and communications.

Working at VTV with the ambition of innovation called VTV3, launched in 1996 with the leaders of that time, creating a phenomenon in the field of television. At that time, they had a clearer understanding of the role and great influence of VTV not only as a national television station, a press agency but also as a media channel that meets many needs of all classes of people - where the interests of the people, businesses and the economy and society meet in harmony.

"Ms. Loan is not only in the leadership role but also the person who directly creates those values through the programs. Those programs have left their mark on VTV3 and later on VTV, in which Ms. Loan has made many contributions, from Bay sac cau vong, Nguoi doi thoi, Duong len dinh Olympia ... During the years of taking on the leadership role at the Entertainment Program Production Department, Ms. Loan - as Deputy Head and later Head - always kept the passion of the profession, dedicated and inspiring, also an example of living simply and humbly..." - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam shared.

At the ceremony, VTV also announced Decision No. 1434 on assigning Ms. Bui Thu Thuy, Deputy Head of Entertainment Program Production Department, to be in charge of managing the Entertainment Program Production Department.

Accordingly, Ms. Bui Thu Thuy will assume the position of Deputy Head of the Entertainment Program Production Board from December 1, 2024.
