The story is about the wedding between Mr. Do Hong Son, 25 years old, in An Khanh commune, Dai Tu district ( Thai Nguyen ) and the bride Duong Thi Lien, Phuc Ha commune, Thai Nguyen city.
At 8am, 7 excavators with double happiness characters, license plates and sides decorated with tinsel and balloons, departed from the groom's house to the bride's house, a distance of more than 3km, traveling in 15 minutes.

"I used to watch wedding processions on tractors, containers, and basket boats on social media, but I never thought I would one day become the main character," said bride Duong Lien.
Son and his wife have been in love for 10 years and have started a business together in their hometown. The idea of carrying the bride by excavator came from his job.
A month before the wedding, he told his fiancée and both sets of parents that he planned to pick up his bride by excavator. Knowing his humorous personality, the family thought Son was just joking. But close to the wedding day, the 25-year-old seriously discussed it with his family and received their support, even though his parents repeatedly reminded him to be careful and not to affect traffic.

Owning 2 excavators, before the wedding day, he borrowed 5 excavators from his friends. Everyone was happy and excited when the excavators were present on his brother's wedding day. Mr. Son spent 2 days cleaning and decorating 7 excavators.
On the wedding day, the 7 cars were decorated with the words “Happy Wedding”, hung with heart-shaped balloons and red bows. On the car, there was only the driver, no one else. Mr. Son said he felt satisfied when the excavator was present at the wedding – the result of his 10-year love affair with his wife.

Groom Hong Son said he was surprised by the attention his wedding received. He affirmed that using an excavator to pick up his bride was not to show off or gain fame. He just wanted to preserve the beautiful and meaningful moments of his big day.
