(NLDO) - In addition to running red lights, a group of cyclists in Binh Duong also drove in the wrong lane, encroaching on the car lane.


On March 23, social media was abuzz with a clip recording a group of cyclists brazenly running a red light. The incident caused public outrage and calls for authorities to investigate and clarify the matter.

Accordingly, in the clip recorded by a local resident, at 6:24 a.m. the same day, a group of about 12 people were cycling on National Highway 13, heading from Thu Dau Mot City to Thuan An.

At the Tan Lap intersection, connecting Thich Quang Duc Street and Highway 13 (Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province), instead of stopping to wait for the red light, this group brazenly crossed, surprising many people.

In addition to running red lights, this group also drove in the wrong lane, encroaching on the car lane, even though there were many vehicles moving at that time.

After the incident was shared on social media, many people expressed their outrage and said that recently there have been many groups of cyclists who disregarded the danger and did not comply with the Road Traffic Law, blatantly violating it and many heartbreaking incidents have occurred.

Speaking to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Duong Province Police said that the unit is verifying the incident. According to this leader, not long ago, people also reported about a group of cyclists violating traffic laws, after which the group was punished.
