Pagodas and Palm Trees

HeritageHeritage25/06/2024

Pagodas and palm trees are both closely associated with the lives of the Khmer people. Pagodas are considered a symbol of the material and spiritual culture of the people, creating architectural heritages in the Mekong Delta. Pagodas are not only places for religious activities but also places to preserve sculptures and fine arts of Khmer folk artists and spread humanistic values in life. As for palm trees, this is a tree species that produces unique specialties, as well as beautiful scenery at sunset and sunrise in the middle of the flooded rice fields.
