Ninh Binh keeps the names of 3 specialized high schools after the rearrangement

On July 1, Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc signed and issued Decision No. 12/2025/QD-UBND regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the provincial Department of Education and Training. See details HERE.

Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh is a professional agency under the Provincial People's Committee, subject to the direction, management of civil servants, payroll and activities of the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time subject to the direction, guidance and inspection of expertise and profession of the Ministry of Education and Training .

On the afternoon of July 8, Director of Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training Nguyen Tien Dung presented the decision to appoint leaders to units under the Department.

After the merger, the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh currently has 9 specialized departments and equivalent; 119 public service units under the Department, including 92 high schools; 25 continuing education centers, vocational education and continuing education centers, career guidance centers, information technology, foreign languages; Ninh Binh College of Economics - Technology and Tourism; Nam Dinh Pedagogical College.

In particular, the province currently has 3 specialized schools including: Le Hong Phong Specialized High School, Luong Van Tuy Specialized High School and Bien Hoa Specialized High School, which will retain their original names after the reorganization.

Some high schools in Nam Dinh province have now been renamed: Tran Hung Dao High School changed to Tran Hung Dao A High School; Nguyen Khuyen High School changed to Nguyen Khuyen B High School; Nguyen Hue High School changed to Nguyen Hue B High School.

Two schools in Ninh Binh province before the merger have also been renamed: Tran Hung Dao High School changed its name to Tran Hung Dao High School B; Nguyen Hue High School changed its name to Nguyen Hue High School A.

Nguyen Khuyen High School, formerly part of Ha Nam province, has now changed its name to Nguyen Khuyen A High School.

The Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh has the function of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in performing the function of state management of education in the province according to regulations; guiding the People's Committees at the commune level in performing state management of education and is responsible to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Education and Training in organizing, directing and inspecting educational activities under its authority.
