Ninh Thuan has 2 more national treasures

On January 18, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 73/QD-TTg recognizing 29 national treasures (batch 12, 2023).

Of which, Ninh Thuan has 2 treasures recognized on this occasion including: Phuoc Thien Stele, dated from the late 8th century to the early 9th century, currently preserved at Ninh Thuan Provincial Museum; statue of King Po Klong Garai, dated from the 16th-17th century, currently worshiped at Po Klong Garai tower, Do Vinh ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham city).

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairmen of People's Committees at all levels where national treasures are located, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, heads of sectors and organizations assigned to manage the above-mentioned recognized national treasures within the scope of their duties and powers to manage national treasures in accordance with the provisions of the law on cultural heritage.

Thus, up to now, Ninh Thuan has 4 national treasures including: Phuoc Thien Stele; statue of King Po Klong Garai; relief of King Po Rome and Hoa Lai Stele.
