Ninh Thuan: Tourists unexpectedly encounter whales hunting on Vinh Hy beach

A group of tourists traveling in Vinh Hy Bay, Ninh Thuan province saw a large whale hunting in this area.

On the morning of June 24, a tour guide and a group of tourists filmed a large whale hunting in the sea area of Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province.

Mr. Di Doi Tin ( tour guide at Vinh Hy Bay) was taking tourists to Hon Rua beach when he discovered a whale surfacing, opening its mouth to hunt for prey. Around its mouth were flocks of seabirds flying.

Many tourists enjoyed filming and taking photos to capture the rare moment. According to the images recorded by local people, the whale was quite large.

Locals said it could be a humpback whale, the appearance of whales shows that the local marine environment is clean, with abundant food sources. If well protected, whales can return regularly, contributing to promoting the image and developing Ninh Thuan marine ecotourism.
