Accordingly, the two newly built ferries are completely self-propelled domestic ferries, with a capacity equivalent to 30 tons, ensuring the transport of passengers, motorbikes, rudimentary vehicles, cars and some other vehicles across the Truong Giang River, Tam Quang - Tam Hai route. The total investment cost for the two ferries is nearly 25 billion VND, invested by the People's Committee of Tam Hai commune and implemented in the period of 2024 - 2026.

It is known that the current passenger ferry on the Tam Quang - Tam Hai route is old and degraded. The investment in building a new ferry aims to serve the transportation of passengers and motor vehicles to ensure safety and smooth traffic, especially during the rainy and stormy season. At the same time, it creates favorable conditions to promote the tourism potential and advantages of the island commune, contributing to the socio -economic development of Nui Thanh district in general.
