Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh offered incense at Ong Bat Stele House

DNO - On the afternoon of July 25, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh led a delegation of the City People's Committee to pay tribute at Ong Bat Stele House (Thang Truong Commune).

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation observed a minute of silence and respectfully offered incense to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh kindly visited and wished good health to Mrs. Pham Thi Nhi, whose brother, Pham Ngoc Hang, bravely fought and sacrificed at Ong Bat bunker during the event on August 2, 1965. Despite her old age, Mrs. Nhi still comes every day to look after the Ong Bat bunker stele house and burn incense to commemorate the loyal communist soldiers.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh hopes that the Party Committee, government and people of Thang Truong commune will continue the heroic tradition of their homeland and previous generations, uphold the spirit of solidarity, join hands to build their homeland to develop more and more, and faithfully preserve the nation's morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water".
