Regarding digital transformation, the Department aims to promote the application of science and technology, publicize planning, and build infrastructure databases.

Regarding infrastructure investment, we will develop synchronous infrastructure, focusing on key projects such as Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressways, upgrading National Highway 28B, and other projects related to railways and airports.

For urban management, we will review planning, develop new urban areas, model residential areas in rural areas, protect the environment and water security.

At the meeting, the Deputy Directors of the Department also made a number of recommendations and proposals: requesting the Provincial People's Committee to recommend the central ministries and branches to issue specific regulations on the norms and costs of building a digital database and requesting the province to allocate funds for digital transformation and digitization of the database. Proposing to adjust and supplement the planning of the Dak Nong - Lam Dong - Binh Thuan expressway, supporting funding for upgrading National Highway 28. Resolving the overlap of mineral exploration planning with traffic projects, providing guidance to remove difficulties in traffic safety inspection and assessment. Prioritizing capital allocation for investment preparation and implementation of the project to upgrade National Highway 27, many of which are seriously degraded.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized the importance of connecting planning between localities, requesting the Department of Construction to study and propose inter-ward and inter-commune planning to increase connectivity in the spirit of saving but still being appropriate and effective. He also directed to continue applying existing planning to carry out investment work and make efforts to deploy provincial-level planning in the field of the department in the coming time.

He requested the Department of Construction to strengthen construction quality management in localities, especially in key projects.
