Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long works in Chau Thanh commune

On the morning of July 7, comrade Le Thanh Long, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister inspected the activities of the Public Administration Service Center and worked with the Party Committee of Chau Thanh commune (An Giang province).

Reporting at the meeting, Chau Thanh Commune Party Secretary Lam Minh Cong said that Chau Thanh Commune was established on the basis of merging Minh Luong Town and Minh Hoa and Giuc Tuong Communes. After the arrangement, the commune has 23 hamlets, 5 residential areas, with 323 self-governing groups.

Chau Thanh Commune Party Committee currently has 45 Party cells and affiliated Party Committees. This is the locality with Kien Giang University, Political Center, Cultural, Sports and Broadcasting Center.

At the Chau Thanh Commune Public Administration Service Center, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long directly surveyed the operations and discussed with officials, civil servants and public employees about the implementation of tasks.

The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the urgent and responsible working spirit of the staff from the district to the commune, especially in the context of the large workload in the newly merged administrative unit and increasingly high requirements.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized that building an effective two-level local government is a key task. He asked the staff, civil servants and public employees of Chau Thanh commune to continue to get to work immediately. If any problems or difficulties arise in practice, they should promptly report to the province and the Central Government for consideration and resolution; the goal is to create the most favorable conditions for people and organizations in carrying out administrative procedures, contributing to stabilizing the organizational apparatus and improving management and service efficiency.
