National Assembly: Questioning the fields of Science, Technology and Transportation

Continuing the working program of the 5th Session, on June 7, the National Assembly worked in the hall, continuing the question and answer session in the fields of Science, Technology and Transport.

Continuing the working program of the 5th Session, the National Assembly spent the whole day of June 7 questioning Government members.

The question and answer session was broadcast live on Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam , and Vietnam National Assembly Television for voters and people to follow.

In the morning session, the Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee and relevant Government members continued to answer questions on the second group of issues.

Next, the National Assembly questioned the third group of issues in the field of Science and Technology. The questioning content revolved around the national science and technology development strategy; solutions to promote the application and deployment of achievements and advanced scientific and technological products in life; the application of high technology to serve socio-economic development, especially in the agricultural sector; the arrangement, management and use of the State budget for scientific research in the past time, the management and use of the National Science and Technology Development Fund; scientific research activities, the transfer of scientific research results to the market of research units, institutes, schools, and public service units; mechanisms and policies to encourage private investment in research and application of science and technology; the implementation of policies and laws on the Science and Technology Development Fund of enterprises.

The person answering the question is the Minister of Science and Technology.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Ministers of Finance, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Education and Training, Information and Communications participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

This content lasted until the beginning of the afternoon session on June 7.

The National Assembly then proceeded to question the fourth group of issues in the field of Transport.

The questions focused on solutions to improve the transport infrastructure system, limit traffic accidents nationwide, and reduce traffic congestion in major cities; state management responsibilities in inspection activities; solutions to remove difficulties and improve the quality of inspection work for road and inland waterway vehicles; management of transport activities and vehicle quality; training, testing, granting, revoking and managing licenses to operate road and inland waterway vehicles.

The person answering the question is the Minister of Transport.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Construction, Science and Technology, Public Security, and National Defense also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues./.
