With the theme To remember a time, on the evening of August 2, in the Musique de Salon program No. 17 in Ho Chi Minh City, musician Duc Tri brought the audience back to the sky of memories with musical pieces spanning from the 1960s to the Blue Wave period as well as new songs with the theme "golden times". Participating in the program were familiar voices to him such as Phuong Vy, Le Hieu, Quoc Thien. The biggest surprise of the night was Quoc Thien when the male singer chose songs that he rarely performed. Accordingly, he took a risk to try his hand at Last Nameless Song (Vu Thanh An), Question Mark (The Hien) and remade the hit Mai Mai Ben Em by Jimmii Nguyen.

After the song by musician The Hien, the male singer said that because he grew up in an environment with many deprivations, he was very happy and joyful if he brought warmth to the unfortunate.

Other singers also had impressive performances: Phuong Vy with jazz, Nguyen Ha with gentle songs and was loved by musician Duc Tri because of her "slow and steady" voice, the more you listen, the more it resonates. Meanwhile, Le Hieu and Quang Dung put on a "gentlemanly" look for love songs, Hoang Hai closed the program with many vibrant songs from the Blue Wave era.

Throughout the show, the remixes were not completely renewed, but instead kept the most valuable and memorable details in each song. Musician Duc Tri confided that there was no need to renew, sometimes what was already so good did not need to be changed.

The music night will continue in Hanoi on August 16 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace.
