Live Fiercely - a touching and multi-dimensional book about the late journalist Minh Hien. The book is about the life and career of the late journalist Minh Hien through the articles she wrote, memories of her family and close friends.

Journalist Minh Hien worked at many press agencies in the South, so through her life, the book also provides documents about the history of journalism at one time.

Journalist Minh Hien's life was closely linked to revolutionary journalism from a very early age. At the age of 13, she left her family to join the resistance war and worked at Giai Phong newspaper, the central agency of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam.

Journalist Minh Hien wrote for the newspaper from its first issue on December 20, 1964 to its last issue in July 1976 - this was the time when Giai Phong newspaper completed its historic mission after the country's reunification. From then on, after a period of studying culture and working as an editor at the Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House, journalist Minh Hien returned to journalism until the end of his life.

Live Fiercely is over 550 pages long. This thickness partly tells about her rich life and career; as well as the affection of her family, friends, teammates, and colleagues for her. The book consists of 4 parts:

Part 1: "Telling stories of the past years" was written by Mr. Nguyen Ho - Mrs. Minh Hien's husband. This part records the milestones in Mrs. Minh Hien's life from old documents and what he knows, including her diary pages and letters.

Part 2: "Please hold my hand" is Mr. Nguyen Ho's diary from 2013 to 2016, recording Ms. Minh Hien's final fight with illness, her last memories with her husband, children and many friends and relatives.

Part 3: "Heaven calls but I don't answer and 20 other stories" are articles/interviews by journalist Minh Hien about portraits of many characters who left their mark in many fields: Deputy Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, Heroic pilot Nguyen Thanh Trung, writer Trang The Hy, businesswoman Cao Thi Ngoc Dung, businesswoman Ly Huy Sang...

Part 4: "Remembering a person, loving a profession" is an article written by many colleagues and friends about journalist Minh Hien with much respect.
