A place that used to be full of garbage and wild grass, now has a beautiful field of yellow daisies growing on the Red River alluvial land right at the foot of Long Bien Bridge (Phuc Xa, Hanoi). On weekends, many young people flocked to check-in.

Located right at the foot of Long Bien Bridge, the Red River alluvial area - a place where waste is often collected - has now been transformed into a beautiful field of yellow butterfly chrysanthemums, attracting many locals and tourists to come and see the flowers and take photos.

The land that was once submerged in water due to the flooding caused by Typhoon Yagi , after just over a month of renovation, has become a brilliant yellow chrysanthemum field and is also a check-in and sightseeing place for people.

The flower fields attract many people and photographers to take pictures and compose.

Currently, this area does not charge any service fees, and entry to the flower fields is free. People only have to pay a parking fee of 5,000 VND/motorbike and about 30,000 VND/car.

The flower grown here is the yellow butterfly daisy, a very slender herb that grows in clumps, 60 - 80 cm high.

The yellow butterfly daisy is a wildflower, it loves light and can tolerate partial shade. It is especially drought tolerant.

Many young people flocked to check-in and take photos on the afternoon of October 27.

The yellow butterfly chrysanthemums are growing well, changing the landscape below Long Bien Bridge. A place that was previously rarely visited by people because of garbage and needles.

Phuc Xa ward leaders said that the flower wharf project was carried out at the location where 100 households were relocated at the middle of the beach. The project was submitted and approved for implementation in May 2024, but due to the impact of storm No. 3, it has only now been implemented.

"We are planting canola flowers and expect them to bloom this winter," he added.

According to the plan, Ba Dinh district will build and develop tourism in the Red River belt and the middle sandbank area. The flower wharf project in Phuc Xa ward will be implemented entirely with socialized capital.
