Thanh Hoa OCOP products are consumed strongly during Lunar New Year

According to preliminary statistics from the New Rural Coordination Office, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, the total value of Thanh Hoa's OCOP products consumed in the market reached more than 20 billion VND. In particular, the selected and consumed items in large quantities mainly focused on the food and beverage group and Tet gift packages.

The most consumed products are famous specialties of Thanh Hoa such as nem chua, vermicelli, rice, fish sauce, etc. In addition to improving product quality, many OCOP entities have also focused on investing in designing eye-catching packaging and labels to meet consumer tastes during the Lunar New Year. Preliminary statistics show that the consumption of OCOP products on the market has increased by 20-40%, with some products increasing by 50-60% compared to normal days.

Currently, Thanh Hoa province has 606 products recognized as meeting OCOP standards from 3-5 stars. In 2025, producers are continuing to invest in improving product quality, diversifying advertising and sales methods to expand the consumption market.
