The R1300GS's frame is made from trellis steel, which is not only strong but also lighter than its predecessor, helping to reduce the overall weight of the bike to 237kg. This makes it lighter than the R1250GS. The suspension consists of Evo Telelever front forks and Evo Paralever rear shock absorbers, providing better damping response, making the ride more stable.
