On July 22, Danang Vocational College and Danang College of Tourism held a signing ceremony for cooperation with Avestos Group (Federal Republic of Germany) and Devis Joint Stock Company to support training and sending students to Germany to work after graduation.

Mr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Director of Devis Joint Stock Company, said that due to the severe shortage of human resources, Germany has approved the Immigration Labor Law.

Under this law, citizens of third countries (non-EU) can enter Germany to study, work and settle.

Specifically, Germany and Vietnam cooperate in key areas including vocational training abroad, energy and environment. In the field of vocational training abroad, Germany supports Vietnam in training 22 occupations according to German standards and training models, implemented at 45 schools assessed and approved by Germany and the General Department of Vocational Training.

Representatives of Danang Vocational College signed a cooperation agreement with Avestos Group (Federal Republic of Germany) and Devis Joint Stock Company.

“In Da Nang City, Da Nang College of Tourism is qualified to participate in the culinary arts profession. As for Da Nang Vocational College, although it is not a beneficiary of the above project, with its existing strengths, the school has decided to train students according to the German model and standards. From there, it will train students with high qualifications and skills, equivalent to Germany for the two groups of metal cutting and mechanical professions,” Mr. Hoan informed.

According to the agreement, students who graduate from the above-mentioned vocational groups and wish to work in Germany must undergo assessment and recognition of their qualifications/graduation certificates.

After being recognized, candidates will receive a certificate issued by the German Institute of Small Industry HWK and the Avestos Group. With this certificate, along with a minimum German language certificate of A2, candidates can go to Germany to work, receive a salary according to German Labor Law with a level of 2,100 euros/month or more (60 million VND), and can settle permanently.

“Devis Joint Stock Company will be responsible for consulting, career guidance, German language training, organizing German language exams, taking care of all visa-related procedures, meeting exit requirements for qualified students as well as accompanying German partners to support candidates during their time working and living in Germany,” Mr. Hoan emphasized.
