The 7th Congress of the Party Committee of the 19th Army Corps is a political activity of special importance to the Party Committee, marking the more than 30-year journey of construction, growth and development of the 19th Army Corps - Dong Bac Corporation.

Presenting the political report at the congress, Colonel Tran Duy Le, Party Secretary, Deputy Commander of the 19th Corps emphasized: In the 2020-2025 term, under the direct leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Corps Party Executive Committee has united, been creative, led and directed the unit to successfully complete the set goals and tasks, with many targets and tasks being excellently completed, revenue, profit, payment to the State budget, wages and income of workers all exceeding the plan. Results of the implementation of the main targets for the 2020-2025 term: Coal production reached over 110%; coal consumption reached 125%; total revenue reached 172%; payment to the budget reached nearly 150%.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity, determination, proactively overcoming difficulties, leading the successful implementation of the set goals and tasks. Building a strong and clean Party organization, a strong and comprehensive Army Corps that is "exemplary and typical", becoming a leading enterprise in the country in coal production, business and import, contributing to ensuring national energy security.

Speaking at the congress, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang acknowledged and warmly congratulated the achievements and results that the Party Committee of the 19th Army Corps has achieved. In the coming time, the task of strengthening national defense and protecting the Fatherland will pose new requirements. The demand for coal consumption for electricity production is expected to increase, and conditions for coal and mineral exploitation will face many difficulties.

To complete the goals and tasks of the coming term, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang requested the Party Committee of the 19th Corps to regularly grasp and seriously implement the policies and directions of the Party, State and Army on combining economy with national defense. Actively innovate thinking and actions, promote cultural values and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers on the economic front; proactively review, concretize, build and effectively implement projects and plans for production and business development in accordance with reality; do a good job of information and communication work, promoting brands and products.

Effectively promote all resources, promote the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation synchronously and comprehensively in all fields; improve labor productivity, complete production and business targets and tasks, fulfill obligations to the State, and effectively contribute to the overall development of the Ministry of National Defense and localities in the area.

Effectively deploy works and projects, especially investment projects on mining and processing titanium and bauxite ores, key projects on developing green economy and circular economy associated with performing military and defense tasks in the Central Highlands and the South Central Coast provinces, ensuring progress, efficiency and safety in all aspects.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang requested effective implementation of the policy of combining economy with national defense. Actively research and effectively apply scientific and technological achievements, improve management and administration capacity. Closely coordinate with military units and enterprises to promote trade, effectively serving military and national defense tasks.

Organize military training for subjects to ensure quality and meet mission requirements. Arrange human resources, vehicles, equipment, and dual-use projects of the unit to be ready to perform military and defense tasks when assigned. Implement corporate culture well, maintain reputation and brand, create customer trust; strengthen cooperation, expand markets, ensure good jobs, income, and improve the lives of officers, employees, and workers.
