Vietnamese students won big at the Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 Asia-Pacific region, advancing straight to the global finals.

At the Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 Asia- Pacific round, 3 Vietnamese teams with 9 talented students won all 3 awards: excellent prize in Computing Track, second prize in Cloud Track and third prize in Network Track.

With this result, 3 teams will advance to the global finals held in China in May 2025.

The Vietnamese team won big with 3 awards at the regional round of the Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 in Malaysia.

Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 is an annual ICT competition organized by Huawei in collaboration with the ASEAN Foundation for students majoring in information technology at universities and academies around the world . With the theme "Connection, Glory, Future" and the slogan "IC The Future", the competition aims to create a platform for international competition and exchange for students around the world , improving ICT knowledge and practical skills.

After surpassing more than 8,000 candidates in the national round, more than 110 outstanding students participated in the Asia-Pacific regional round held in Malaysia. The teams competed in 4 diverse competition contents: Computing Track, Cloud Track, Network Track and Innovation Track.

In the Computing Track category, the Vietnamese team including Mai Thi Phuong and Nguyen Tu Kien - Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology; Duong Van Hiep - FPT University Hanoi won the excellent prize.

In the Cloud Track category, the team including: Bui Quoc An - Cryptography Engineering Academy; Dau Van Khoa - Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Tran Hai Dang - University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University won second prize.

Network Track content, the selection includes: Le Nhu Quynh and Dinh Hoang Anh - Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology; Nguyen Le Hong Khanh - Hanoi University of Science and Technology won third prize.

With this resounding victory, 9 outstanding faces will continue to represent Vietnam in the global final round, competing with international students in 3 contents: Computing Track, Cloud Track, Network Track. The program is expected to be held in May 2025 in China.

Mr. Macky Zhang, General Director of Huawei Vietnam, was delighted with the victory of Vietnamese students.
