After Storm No. 3 passed, businesses in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park have stabilized production and business. Ms. Do Thi Quynh, representative of Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared: The storm collapsed the main door, blew off the roof of the service house, damaged 2 rolling doors, damaged elevator circuit boards... of the Company, estimated damage of more than 500 million VND. The Company has arranged human resources and materials to repair the damaged factory system and equipment. By the morning of September 9, the Company returned to normal production, 100% of workers went to work on 11 production lines. The Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park Management Board supported businesses to ensure electricity, water, and internet sources to ensure stable production.

After the storm, electricity, water and telecommunications in the district were gradually restored.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Diem Dien town said: After the storm passed, on the evening of September 8, electricity and water were restored, everyone in my family was happy.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chung, Director of Thai Thuy Electricity Company said: After the storm, we deployed 100% of our staff to conduct inspections and repairs. By 6:00 p.m. on September 11, Thai Thuy Electricity Company had restored power to communes and towns; 100% of businesses in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and industrial clusters.

In Thuy Hai commune, Mr. Ta Duy Binh, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: The commune had no human casualties, but the garage of the Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary School had its roof blown off, more than 30 trees were broken, more than 100 roofs of houses were blown off, more than 100 hectares of aquaculture were flooded... To overcome the situation, the Commune's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue mobilized maximum forces to participate in environmental sanitation, all fallen trees on the roads were cleared; students from schools have returned to school; 50% of the flooded aquaculture area has been restored by the people.

Not only Thuy Hai commune, 35 communes and towns in Thai Thuy district are urgently overcoming the damage after storm No. 3.

Mr. Le Van Hoan, Deputy Head of the District's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said: After storm No. 3, the district had 7,000 hectares of winter-spring rice affected, with a loss of 20% or more in yield; 350 hectares of unharvested crops were damaged and crushed; 1,500 hectares of aquaculture were flooded. To overcome initial damage in agricultural production and focus on flood drainage, the Department has requested the People's Committees of communes, towns, and cooperatives to focus on directing and mobilizing all means and pumps to pump and drain in combination with rapid drainage according to the general system; the Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise has assigned staff to be on duty 24/7 to prevent and control floods, monitor water level changes, and focus on internal drainage with the motto of being proactive and flexible in operating sluices under the dike when the water level in the field is higher than that in the river, but must ensure the safety of the project.
