Visit the only traditional salt making village in Ho Chi Minh City

The salt making profession in Ly Nhon commune, Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City began to form and go into production from 1967 - 1968. Throughout history, the salt making profession in Ly Nhon commune has been preserved by local salt farmers and has increasingly developed.

Over the past 50 years, many salt farmers have passed down their secrets and skills from generation to generation. Ly Nhon is the first and only locality with a salt-making village recognized by the City as a traditional craft village.
