Yen Bai - In order to organize practical activities towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Yen Bai City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee issued a Plan to organize an online contest to learn about the history and tradition of 80 years of construction and growth of the City Party Committee (May 7, 1945 - May 7, 2025).

With the theme: "Learning about the 80-year history of the construction and development of the Yen Bai City Party Committee", the content of the Contest is questions related to knowledge about the history of formation, the process of construction and development of Yen Bai City; the leadership role of the Yen Bai City Party Committee through historical periods. Learn about events, movements, characters, and outstanding achievements that have had a great impact on the construction and development process of Yen Bai City from 1945 to present.
The contest is held online. Contestants access the contest banner on the Yen Bai City Party Newsletter Website: http://bantindangbothanhphoyenbai.vn.
Contestants are cadres, party members, union members, members of the armed forces, students and all classes of people in the city (except members of the Organizing Committee, the Question and Answer Drafting Team, the Secretariat, and Contest Assistants); ensuring that 100% of the Party cells and grassroots Party committees under the City Party Committee have cadres and party members participating in the Contest.
The contest will take place over 2 weeks, from April 14 to April 28, 2025. The contest period for each week starts at 10:00 a.m. on Monday of the first week and ends at 9:00 a.m. on Monday of the following week.
The Organizing Committee of the competition will award 11 prizes/week, including: 01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes, 05 consolation prizes with certificates. At the end of the competition, 11 groups with the largest number of participants and many winners will be selected to award the following prizes: 01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes, 05 consolation prizes with certificates.
The Organizing Committee of the Contest will summarize and award prizes to winning individuals and groups at the meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Yen Bai City Party Committee (May 7, 1945 - May 7, 2025).
Through the Contest, cadres, party members and people of Yen Bai city will have a deeper understanding of the history of formation, the process of building and developing the Yen Bai city Party Committee; promote propaganda and education on revolutionary traditions and the movement of researching and learning about the history of the Party Committee, merger, consolidation and establishment of the city. Thereby, raising awareness, arousing pride, belief and consciousness, responsibility of each citizen of Yen Bai city in the cause of building and protecting the homeland and country in the new period.
