Computer-delivered IELTS test takers will receive results after 2 days

Specifically, candidates in Vietnam who take the IELTS test on computer can now receive results in just 2 days. Previously, the maximum time to get IELTS test results on computer was about 5 days.

According to IDP Vietnam, with results announced faster, candidates can promptly apply to study abroad, work or settle in countries around the world .

Mr. Raghav Sabharwal - Director of IELTS IDP Southeast Asia, said that the faster result delivery time also demonstrates IELTS's commitment to helping candidates achieve their global development goals.

IDP Vietnam affirms that shortening the scoring time will not affect the quality of the assessment. The process of assessing candidates' English skills is carried out directly, ensuring accurate and absolutely objective results.

Similarly, the British Council Vietnam also announced that the computer-delivered IELTS test taken at British Council test locations will also have results within 2 days.

However, the shortened time for IELTS test results is not applied by the British Council and IDP for the paper-based IELTS test.

For the paper-based IELTS test, candidates can check their results online and receive a hard copy (TRF) 13 days after the written test date.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an international English language testing system widely recognized by thousands of universities, governments and businesses worldwide.

Launched in 1989, the IELTS test is jointly owned by IDP, the British Council and Cambridge University Examinations and Press.
