Accordingly, from the beginning of 2024 to August 15, the state budget revenue of Thanh Hoa Customs Department reached 13,895.09 billion VND, an increase of 29.9% over the same period in 2023 and reaching 102% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1602/QD-TTg dated December 10, 2023.

In recent times, thanks to the synchronous and drastic implementation of solutions to facilitate trade and quickly clear import and export goods, the number of enterprises registering to carry out customs procedures through Thanh Hoa Customs Department has increased. Thanh Hoa Customs Department estimates that the state budget revenue from import and export goods processed at the unit in 2024 will reach 19,426 billion VND, exceeding 43% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister.

Of which, revenue from imported crude oil serving Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant accounts for the majority, with an estimated level of VND16,765.6 billion by the end of the year. Revenue from imported goods other than crude oil is expected to reach about VND2,962 billion, mainly goods serving production of projects in Nghi Son Economic Zone.

Meanwhile, revenue from exported goods such as wood chips, white stone, clinker... generally did not fluctuate much and had a negligible impact on the budget revenue of the entire unit. It is expected that by the end of the year, revenue from this group of goods will only reach about 485 billion VND.
