Nguyen Thi Anh Vien (born in 1996, from Can Tho ) is the most successful swimmer of Vietnamese swimming, having won about 150 medals of all kinds, including 25 SEA Games gold medals, 2 Asiad bronze medals, 1 Youth Olympic gold medal...

In October 2021, Anh Vien announced her retirement from her athletic career at the age of 25 because she wanted to spend time for herself and continue her studies.

In 2023, Anh Vien became the youngest professional military lieutenant colonel in Vietnam. She was awarded the First Class Labor Medal (2019) and the Second Class Labor Medal (2015).
