Quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine at Brunei Darussalam's New Year festival

Brunei Darussalam's Hari Raya New Year Festival was solemnly held on May 25 at the Brunei International Convention Center with the participation of Princess Hajah Masna, sister of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.

Brunei Princess Hajah Masna and Foreign Minister Erywan took photos with Ambassadors of countries at the event.

The New Year celebration is held annually by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei to celebrate the traditional Hari Raya festival, and is also an opportunity for representative agencies of countries in Brunei to promote their image and culinary culture to international and local friends.

This year's event was attended by Brunei's Foreign Minister II Dato Erywan and over 1,000 Brunei and international guests.

More than 20 representative agencies in Brunei participated in displaying booths at the event with rich and unique culinary and cultural products.

At the event, many Brunei and international friends visited the booth of the Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam.

Many friends enjoyed experiencing famous dishes that have been introduced to heads of state, especially the bun cha dish enjoyed by US President Barrack Obama during his visit to Vietnam in 2016.

A highlight of the event was the Hari Raya congratulatory video produced by the representative offices in Brunei and Brunei Embassies around the world .

The Vietnamese Embassy's Hari Raya congratulatory video features children of overseas Vietnamese in Brunei and staff of the representative agency.
