The contest is organized in the form of online multiple-choice tests on the internet, at the following addresses: Online multiple-choice test system - Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee (http://tuyengiao- tracnghiem.laocai.gov.vn); Electronic Information Portal of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department (http://bantuyengiao.laocai.org.vn); Electronic Information Page of the Lao Cai Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office (http://nongthonmoilaocai.vn) and electronic newspapers, magazines, electronic information pages/portals linked to the electronic information portal of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
The content of the contest focuses on learning about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and Lao Cai province's policies on implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development; the set of criteria for new rural development at all levels in Lao Cai province, period 2022 - 2025; amending a number of criteria and targets of the set of criteria; the goals of striving for new rural development in Lao Cai province in 2024 and period 2021 - 2025.
The competition will be held in 3 weeks: Week 1 (from August 5 to 9, 2024); Week 2 (from August 12 to 16, 2024) and Week 3 (from August 19 to 23, 2024).
Based on the competition results, the Organizing Committee will award 3 First prizes (VND 2.4 million/prize), 6 Second prizes (VND 1.6 million/prize), 9 Third prizes (VND 1.2 million/prize) and 30 Consolation prizes (VND 0.4 million/prize) to individuals; 1 First prize (VND 4.8 million); 2 Second prizes (VND 3.2 million/prize); 3 Third prizes (VND 2.4 million/prize); 3 Consolation prizes (VND 1.6 million/prize) and 3 Thematic prizes (VND 0.4 million/prize) to groups with outstanding achievements participating in the competition.
In addition to the cash prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates to individuals; Certificates of Merit and Flags to groups that won the competition's prizes.
Previously, in 2022, Lao Cai province organized the online contest "Learn about the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Phase 2021 - 2025", attracting 14 party committees, 9 districts, towns, cities and 20 other provinces to participate, with 47,847 accounts/285,474 contests.
The contest has attracted the attention of many cadres, party members and people; has a strong influence, contributing to the propaganda of the National Target Program on new rural construction, creating consensus and support from all classes of people.
