At the meeting, General Secretary To Lam welcomed Mr. Daniel Rosen to return to Vietnam on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the second year of the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

General Secretary To Lam expressed his delight at the strong development of bilateral relations in recent times, affirming that Vietnam attaches importance to developing relations with the United States, and hopes that bilateral relations will continue to develop in depth, effectively and stably in all fields, especially in economics, trade and investment, for the benefit of the people and businesses of the two countries.

The General Secretary said that Vietnam and the United States are two economies with complementary advantages; Vietnam has abundant human resources with aspirations to contribute and strive to rise, possesses rich natural resources, and at the same time highly values capital, technology and high-tech products from the United States.

Mr. Daniel Rosen expressed his honor to meet General Secretary To Lam again, sincerely thanked the General Secretary for taking the time to receive the delegation; shared his impressions when witnessing the talent, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong changes in Vietnam that have created favorable conditions and opened up more investment and business opportunities for enterprises. Mr. Daniel Rosen informed about investment plans, notably the project to build a world-class amusement park in Vietnam, committed to promoting cooperation in science and technology, artificial intelligence, connecting Vietnamese scientists with scientists from the United States and other countries, building specific cooperation projects such as science and technology, artificial intelligence, and smart governance.

General Secretary To Lam welcomed Rosen Partners Group's interest in investing in Vietnam, affirming that Vietnam is making efforts to streamline its apparatus, rearrange administrative boundaries to expand space and facilitate development, and realize the country's goals by 2030 and 2045.

The General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam encourages investment in cultural and tourism development, promotes people-to-people exchanges, welcomes cooperation between Vietnam and other countries, including the United States, in the field of science and technology, and suggests that the group promote cooperation and investment in areas where the United States has strengths and Vietnam has demand, including high-quality agriculture, training and human resource development.

Mr. Daniel Rosen affirmed his commitment to making efforts to implement investment projects in Vietnam, contributing to the development of Vietnam and the Vietnam-US relationship.
