The second Vietnam International Defense Exhibition also took place on the special occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan reiterated the remarks of Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense: "We fly not only domestically but all over the world " to talk about the position, culture, and people of Vietnam, especially the Vietnamese Army. However, he still noted that from the general director to the commander of each department and each individual participating in the performance, the movements must be even, beautiful, rhythmic, and in accordance with the script. Giving specific comments on the performance, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan said that it must show the spirit of the Vietnamese people and Vietnamese soldiers with strong character, showing pride...
