On the evening of June 7, answering VTC News reporter, a leader of Dong Cam commune (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong ) said that the authorities are hunting for the gold shop robber.
Specifically, at around 8:30 p.m. on June 7, taking advantage of the rain, a robber wearing a raincoat broke into the Duc Nam gold shop in Dong Cam commune (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong), broke the glass door, and stole gold.

Seeing this, the gold shop owner and his wife, along with his son and his wife who were having dinner, rushed out to arrest him. The robber used pepper spray to fight back and used a pistol to shoot the gold shop owner's son in the stomach before escaping.
The victim was promptly taken to the emergency room by family members and local people, who also reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the professional departments of Hai Duong Provincial Police coordinated with Kim Thanh District Police to the locality and deployed professional measures to capture the robber.
Dong Cam commune leaders added that the victim is currently Lieutenant Colonel, Chief of Police of Tuan Viet commune (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong).
