Why long-range missiles are 'useless' for Ukraine; Russia continues efforts to maintain multipolarity

According to Mr. Berletic, even if the West allows Ukraine to attack Russian territory with long-range missiles, this will not bring any benefits to Kiev, because the total amount of ammunition that the Ukrainian side has is not enough to penetrate Russian air defense systems.

The problem is that the West does not produce enough long-range missiles for the Ukrainian armed forces to be able to attack targets with the necessary force, as well as to be able to overcome the dense Russian air and missile defense network. At the same time, attack regular Russian targets to at least influence the course of the conflict, ” Berletic shared on the New Atlas YouTube channel.

According to him, long-range missiles do not bring any benefits to the Ukrainian armed forces, which is clearly demonstrated by the example of Kiev's attempts to use such ammunition in the area of special military operations.

These weapons have already been used by the Ukrainian armed forces and have proven incapable of achieving strategic goals in the conflict with Russia. So why would extending the range of these missiles make a difference? Nothing will happen, ” the political analyst stressed.

Russia continues efforts to maintain multipolarity

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow and its partners will continue to work to protect multipolarity.

According to her, Russia comes from the need to help the United Nations adapt to modern realities, which are the emergence of a multipolar world order.

Russia, as a founding member of the United Nations and a responsible member of the international community, together with its partners in the world majority, will continue to make efforts to maintain a multipolar world order, ” the diplomat said.
