Nguyen Minh Duong proudly holds the national flag in the moment of receiving the MOSWC 2024 Bronze Medal.

Nguyen Minh Duong is a second-year student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, representing the MOS Vietnam team. 2024 is the second time Minh Duong has participated in the MOSWC competition after winning the national second prize in the 2021 season.

This time, the male student from the capital was determined to study hard and win a ticket to the United States to compete with hundreds of opponents from all over the world . After a long journey, surpassing many "heavyweight" candidates, Nguyen Minh Duong brought home the Bronze Medal for his country.

All members of the 2024 MOS Vietnam team are in the top 10 best candidates in different competition categories.

In addition to Nguyen Minh Duong, 5 members of the MOS Vietnam team were all in the top 10 contestants with the highest scores in different competition categories at the 2024 world finals, including: Do Dong Hai (National Economics University); Tran Truong Giang (Long Truong High School, Ho Chi Minh City); Tran Thanh An (Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted); Pham Nguyen Minh Hoang (Nguyen Tat Thanh Middle and High School, Hanoi); Vo Ngoc Anh Linh (Bao Loc High School for the Gifted, Lam Dong province).

Meanwhile, the ACP Vietnam 2024 team also brought home good news with the Bronze Medal of contestant Mai Ngoc Linh (grade 11, Chu Van An High School, Hanoi). Thus, after 7 years of participating in the final round of the ACPWC competition, the Vietnam team once again held the prestigious medal in their hands.

Sharing about the tournament, Ms. Doan Nguyen Van Khanh, Deputy General Director of IIG Vietnam Education Organization, the unit implementing the competition in Vietnam, said: “This year's world finals were very competitive. Each team sent representatives who were carefully selected from the domestic qualifying rounds. However, the Vietnamese team was very excellent, promoting their talent, intelligence and courage, once again affirming Vietnam's position in the international arena. Today's achievements will be a solid launching pad for the students in the process of establishing themselves and their careers in the future."

Sharing the above opinion, comrade Nguyen Thien Tu, Director of the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development (Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) said: “The competitions have created opportunities for Vietnamese youth to perfect their skills in applying information technology and graphic design according to international standards, creating favorable momentum for future development with prestigious global professional certificates. Your achievements have spread the spirit of effort to study, practice, and effectively apply technological achievements among young people”.
