On April 14, in response to a reporter's question asking about Vietnam's reaction to the missile launch into Israeli territory, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang emphasized:

Vietnam is deeply concerned about the current escalating tensions in the Middle East, especially acts of force that violate the United Nations Charter and cause civilian casualties.

We call on relevant parties to exercise restraint, resolve disagreements by peaceful means, strictly comply with international law, the Charter and relevant resolutions of the United Nations, and immediately end acts of force that escalate tensions, for the sake of security, safety, peace and stability in the region and the world.
