ON Live Esports, a unit under VTVCab, will be the main sponsor and coordinate with VNGGames to organize, produce and broadcast the League of Legends National Championship (VCS LMHT) with the official name ON Live Vietnam Championship Series 2025. This is a new step for the cooperation between e -sports and national television.
This year's tournament officially kicked off on February 28, 2025. The winning team will have the opportunity to represent Vietnam to compete in the 2026 Asia- Pacific League of Legends Championship (LCP). At the same time, this year is also the first year the tournament is officially part of the National Championship system of eSports content.
In addition to the League of Legends tournament, in 2025, ON Live eSports will also coordinate, produce and broadcast the entire VALORANT regional and international tournament system to serve Vietnamese audiences. The highest-level tournament of VALORANT called “ON Live VALORANT Series” will officially start in early March 2025 to find Vietnamese representatives to compete at the regional level.
Previously, VNGGames cooperated with Riot Games and Vietnam Entertainment E-Sports Association (VIRESA) to announce the roadmap for the On Live VCS LMHT 2025 tournament.
According to the Organizing Committee, the ON Live VCS 2025 season will be divided into 3 stages, including: VCS 2025 Spring, VCS 2025 Summer and VCS 2025 Finals. Both VCS 2025 Spring and Summer will also have Qualifiers with the official name "Road to VCS", creating opportunities for teams from the community League of Legends tournament system organized by VNGGames or other partners to participate.
Players participating in ON Live VCS 2025 will also be officially recognized as Sports Athletes, awarded Medals and Certificates of Achievement, in addition to physical prizes like previous seasons.
