Two working groups of VNPT Thanh Hoa, consisting of 10 members including telecommunications technicians, specialized cranes, materials and equipment, arrived in Quang Ninh and Hai Duong provinces on September 9 to support and restore the telecommunications and information technology networks damaged by storm No. 3.
Heavy rain over a large area affected the telecommunications and information technology network in the province.
VNPT Thanh Hoa staff focused on troubleshooting and restoring the information network in the province.
To promptly respond to situations caused by storm No. 3, VNPT Thanh Hoa has developed plans, urgently implemented response solutions, minimized damage, and fully prepared materials, spare equipment, and human resources to handle possible incidents as quickly as possible.
Although not directly affected by the storm, storm No. 3 caused widespread heavy rain, affecting the telecommunications and information technology network. Up to now, apart from a fiber optic cable line in the mountainous area affected by landslides, the entire telecommunications and information technology network of VNPT Thanh Hoa has been restored, ensuring the smooth communication system.
Representatives of VNPT Thanh Hoa leaders discussed and assigned tasks to the working delegation.
Faced with the severe damage caused by storm No. 3 in the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Hai Duong, including the communication system, VNPT Thanh Hoa sent two working groups, bringing all necessary equipment to work with other units to focus on handling the incident, in order to restore the communication system as soon as possible.
