The first match of round 6 was the confrontation between Thai Nguyen T&T and Ha Noi II. Although rated higher than their opponents, the tea team encountered many difficulties when Ha Noi II focused on defense. In the remaining match, Phong Phu Ha Nam was determined to get 3 points against TP.HCM II. The pressure from Phong Phu Ha Nam helped them quickly score the opening goal. In the 15th minute, Tuyet Dung crossed the ball very well for Lan Anh to have a reasonable rhythm to make a wall, Thuy Linh finished very cleverly to break the deadlock for the Northern representative.
The early advantage helped Phong Phu Ha Nam play with a relaxed spirit. They continuously had dangerous opportunities in front of Danh Thi Kieu My's goal. Meanwhile, TP.HCM II mainly focused on defense. The first 45 minutes passed without any more goals being scored.
