Tan Hiep Commune hands over 14 houses to meritorious people

On July 22, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Hiep commune (An Giang province) held a house handover ceremony for families of people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Tan Hiep commune handed over 14 houses to families of martyrs' mothers, wives and children, war invalids, people infected with toxic chemicals, people with revolutionary contributions, and people receiving resistance medals.

Each house has an area of 30 square meters or more, with walls, corrugated iron roofs, and tiled floors. The total construction cost is nearly 500 million VND; of which, the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses supported 450 million VND, the rest was mobilized by the commune steering committee and contributed by the family.
