After you successfully authenticate your Zalo account, your account will be more secure and less risky. You will also easily recover your account if it is stolen. Below are details on how to authenticate your Zalo account with simple steps.
Step 1: Access the Zalo application on your phone, then tap on Personal. Next, tap on Account and security.

Step 2: Then, click on Verify Account and click Start.

At this point, the system will ask for identification documents to verify the account. Valid documents are Citizen ID, National Identity Card and Passport.
Step 3: Click on the Take Photo icon in the middle of the screen. There will be 3 options: Photo Library, Take Photo and Select File. If you have saved your ID in the Photo Library or in the file, you can click on these 2 items. However, it is best to choose Take Photo so that the photo uploads according to Zalo's requirements.

Step 4: Then, you upload the front and back photos of your ID card according to Zalo's regulations. If the photo meets the system's requirements, the text Valid Photo will be displayed as shown below. Next, click Continue.

Step 5: Finally, proceed to verify the portrait photo. Select Take Photo similar to step 3. After the uploaded photo is a valid photo as shown below, click Complete Verification.
