V-League does not have the name Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc
On August 2, a representative of the leadership of Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club Joint Stock Company said that the unit had sent an official document to Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) regarding not participating in the LPBank National Football Championship 2025 - 2026 (abbreviated as LPBank V-League 2025 - 2026), after receiving an invitation from VPF.
Previously, on August 1, VPF sent a document to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club inviting them to register to participate in the LPBank National Championship 2025-2025.
Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club is the current runner-up of the 2024-2025 national first division tournament.

According to the document of VPF, based on the plan to determine the club to replace the participation in V-League 2025-2026, the current professional football regulations and the results of registration to participate in the tournament, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club (formerly Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc) has been determined to be the team with priority to replace Quang Nam Club to participate in V-League 2025-2026.

To coordinate the handling of related work, VPF requests that Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club give an official response regarding participation in the tournament.

Luong Xuan Truong, Tran Minh Vuong and Nguyen Cong Phuong, the names that grew up from HAGL's training center, have all joined Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club, which has not been promoted to V-League this season.

Regarding this issue, a representative of the leadership of Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club Joint Stock Company said that the club has sent an official document responding to VPF, confirming that it will not participate in the LPBank National Football Championship 2025-2026.
According to the representative, after receiving the invitation from VPF, the club held a meeting, carefully considered many aspects and decided not to participate. This was a difficult decision for the team, because participating in the highest level of Vietnamese football is an extremely valuable opportunity.

While the seniors have not been promoted, the juniors Anh Quan and Nguyen Hieu Minh - the star of U.23 Vietnam, the U.23 Southeast Asian champion playing for PVF-CAND, suddenly received good news. Being awarded a place to play in the V-League, PVF-CAND will replace the Quang Nam team that just left the tournament.
Binh Phuoc Club, established in 2006, changed its name to Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc after the transfer in 2023 and was officially recognized by VFF to change its name to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai from August 1. Despite being the runner-up of the 2024-2025 First Division, possessing many stars such as Cong Phuong, Tuan Tai, Tan Truong, Luu Tu Nhan..., the club still decided not to go up to V-League but set the goal of promotion based on its own strength, with reinforcements including Minh Vuong, Xuan Truong, Van Son, Duc Cuong and coach Nguyen Viet Thang.
