On the evening of December 10, in Hanoi , the final round of the 15th National Student Singing Competition - S.MUSIC 2023 took place.
The contest has been held since 1991, with the aim of creating a useful playground, discovering talents, enhancing aesthetic education for students, and promoting the building of school culture in schools, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The theme of the 2023 competition is “Building school culture” to contribute to creating a cultural environment, communication skills, behavior, building the school brand, inspiring students to be proud of their teachers and school, their homeland and country. The competition also aims to praise the love of homeland, country, school, teachers and friends; expressing students' dreams, aspirations, feelings and responsibilities towards themselves, their families and the community.
The competition is organized in 2 rounds: regional round and final round. In which, the Southern regional round takes place in Ho Chi Minh City, the Northern regional round takes place in Hanoi. From the regional rounds held in the 2 regions, the organizing committee has selected 12 best performances to participate in the final round. Including performances of Ton Duc Thang University, University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh National University), Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics , Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Nam Can Tho University...
Many entries affirmed the traditional cultural values of the nation from the creative and dynamic perspective of youth. In particular, many entries demonstrated the sense of responsibility of the young generation in affirming the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland and the aspiration to contribute to building the country.
Up to now, the contest has been held 14 times. Through the contest, many singers have grown up and become famous artists such as singer Tan Minh, singer Thuy Dung, singer Trang Nhung (Gold medal of the 2nd contest), singer My Linh, singer Tran Thu Ha (Gold medal of the 3rd contest)...
