Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced the decision of the admissions council on direct admission to full-time university studies in 2025 with a list of the first 13 candidates eligible to be admitted to university this year.
Of which, 4 candidates were admitted to the Pharmaceutical Chemistry major; 3 candidates were admitted to the Traditional Medicine major; 2 candidates were admitted to the Medical Laboratory Technology major. The remaining majors, each major has 1 candidate admitted directly, including: Medicine, Nursing specializing in Anesthesia and Resuscitation, Medical Imaging Technology, Dental Restoration Technology.
To be officially admitted, the above candidates must register for admission according to their wishes on the system or on the National Public Service Portal according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy will use 4 admission methods, including: considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; combining the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam with international certificates for admission; direct admission according to the provisions of Article 8 of the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; university preparation.
In particular, the direct admission method according to the provisions of the Admission Regulations applies to specific subjects, including: Labor Heroes, People's Armed Forces Heroes, National Emulation Fighters are directly admitted to university in all majors; candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in national and international excellent student selection competitions organized or sent to participate by the Ministry of Education and Training are considered for direct admission in the year of high school graduation; the time of winning the prize must not exceed 3 years from the time of direct admission.
