At the ceremony, delegates and 140 children's soldiers offered incense and laid wreaths at the Memorial of the soldiers marching to the South and offered flowers to report their achievements to Uncle Ho at the Uncle Ho Monument with children of ethnic groups in Dak Lak province.

With the theme "Continuing the story of peace ", the "Military Semester" program for the 2025 children's class took place from June 15 to 19 at Battalion 303 (Hoa Xuan commune, Buon Ma Thuot city).

The young soldiers will be trained and have practical experience in the military environment, learn about national defense and security, the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army; practice bravery, discipline, military knowledge and military style. At the same time, they will be equipped and nurtured with life skills, social practice skills, and emotional education through group activities, competitions, and performances.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Steering Committee of the 2025 "Military Semester" Program H Giang Nie emphasized that during this special training period, the students will go through challenging stages in an environment without phones, televisions, or relatives, and will eat, live, work, and train together in a disciplined military environment.
Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to building a generation of young Vietnamese people who are patriotic, courageous, intelligent, dynamic, creative, and ready and willing to voluntarily fulfill their duty to protect the Fatherland.
