According to initial information, the fire broke out at 6:28 p.m. and spread rapidly over a large area. Immediately upon receiving the news, leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tan Hoi commune were present at the scene, coordinated and directed the fire fighting work, and mobilized maximum forces to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas.
The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Force of Tay Ninh Provincial Police quickly deployed forces and vehicles to the scene.
A total of 12 specialized vehicles were mobilized, including 2 command vehicles, 9 fire trucks, 4 water tankers and 1 troop transport vehicle. More than 80 officers and soldiers, along with 30 militiamen and 56 soldiers of Infantry Team 4, coordinated to put out the fire and ensure security and order in the area.
By about 22:10 the same day, the fire was basically extinguished. There were no casualties. However, the fire burned down two factories with a total area of over 11,000m2, along with all the machinery, production lines and raw materials inside. The initial damage was estimated at about 9 billion VND.
On the morning of August 3, at the scene, 2 factories were burned down. Representatives of Tan Hoi commune visited and encouraged the Board of Directors of Evergreen Tree Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd., and promptly shared the losses that the business had to bear.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of Tay Ninh Province in coordination with relevant agencies and the People's Procuracy of Region 11./.
